Mr. MD Nazmul Hasan Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer of IIDFC Securities Limited is a veteran of Bangladesh Capital Market having more than 15 years of experience in Capital Market Sales and Wealth Management. Mr. Chowdhury possesses a proven ability to formulate strategies to meet the organization’s financial goals. During his career, he has demonstrated superior relationship management and negotiation skills in liaisons with banks, financial institutions, and regulators.

Prior to joining IIDFC Securities Limited, Mr. Chowdhury served LankaBangla Securities Limited as AGM Business Development for 5 years. During his journey in LankaBangla Securities Limited, he successfully developed superior strategies for onboarding new clients and advised them with market insights to help investment decision-making. He also received the “Outstanding Performance” award several times during his career in LankaBangla Securities Limited.

Mr. MD Nazmul Hasan Chowdhury started his capital market career in LankaBangla Securities in 2008 afterward he served some renowned brokerage houses in the country namely Phoenix Securities Limited, BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Limited, and UCB Capital Management Limited. Besides his sales and wealth management activities, he dealt with the concept of Premium Brokerage, Cross Selling Model, Principle Protected Investment Scheme, and sell-side market analysis.

Before joining the workforce, Mr. Chowdhury completed his MBA & BBA (Marketing) with distinction at the University of Dhaka. He was also awarded the Erasmus Mundus scholarship sponsored by European Commission while taking Fellowship from Corvinus University, Hungary. Apart from his academic background, Mr. Chowdhury attended various training on Derivatives Applications, Sales Development, Fundamental & Technical Analysis, Automated Trading systems, etc.
